The Wagner Tuning high-performance intercooler is designed for the Audi RS4 B9 and RS5 F5 with the 2.9-liter V6 biturbo engine (VW EA839). This intercooler upgrade significantly increases cooling performance, reduces back pressure, and delivers a substantial increase in power.
The intercooler features a 185% larger external mesh volume compared to the standard cooler, providing more cool, dense air to the engine for improved power and torque. The cast aluminum end boxes are optimized using CAD and CFD simulations to ensure ideal airflow and minimal back pressure, which also helps extend turbocharger life.
Installation is straightforward with a plug-and-play design, replacing the standard water-cooled intercooler. A special heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating ensures durability and reliable cooling performance.
