Description SPEED ENGINEERING 15355 Chassis Mounted Splitter for BMW M3 (F80) / M4 (F82)
The SPEED ENGINEERING 15355 Chassis Mounted Splitter is designed for the BMW M3 F80 and BMW M4 F82. The adjustable splitter board can be set in a retracted position for legal overhang length or an extended position for use outside public roads.
The chassis-mounted SPEED Splitter transfers professional motorsport aerodynamic technology to the vehicle. Compared with bonded lips, the concept optimises the ratio between low aerodynamic drag and increased downforce. Full carbon fibre construction with laminated, milled aluminium brackets keeps the structure lightweight and rigid.
The custom-made carbon lip follows the bumper shape and acts as an air dam. Aluminium brackets matched to the front carrier transfer generated downforce to the front axle, while six mounting points distribute forces across the splitter board.
Installation Note: The carbon lip must not be installed without the supplied splitter board.
Compatibility Note: Not compatible with carbon add-on pieces.
Road Use: Motorsport parts are not approved for road use.
