The SPEED ENGINEERING 13687 Seat Console with Adapter is designed for the driver’s side of the TOYOTA Supra Mk5. The seat mounting is a safety-critical component developed with FEM simulation to support safety and weight optimisation.
The console is designed to provide the lowest possible central seating position in front of the steering wheel. Component cut-outs and shapes are based on calculated and simulated stress distribution under load. The installation space is measured using a 3D laser scanner to reduce fastening material, lower installation effort, and maximise available space.
- Reduced lever arms between fixing points help lower torque loads on the components
- Expandable with step belt fastening for six-point harnesses
- Designed to accommodate Recaro guide rails
