The SPEED ENGINEERING 13420 Front Brake Cooling Kit is developed specifically for the BMW M2 (F87) and is designed to improve brake cooling efficiency under both road and track driving conditions. By directing a controlled airflow from the front radiator area to the center of the brake discs, the system helps reduce brake temperatures, improve braking consistency, and minimize wear of friction components.

The kit utilizes specially designed inlet ducts that capture airflow exiting the factory side radiators and channel it through dedicated hoses to lightweight aluminum brake backing plates. These backing plates direct air into the center of the brake disc at an optimized angle, utilizing the disc’s internal turbine effect for maximum cooling efficiency.
