Technology

The SACHS Performance clutch pressure plate is firmly bolted to the flywheel. When engaged, it transmits engine Torque to the clutch disc via the housing, tangential leaf springs, and clutch pressure plate. Decisive design factors are the pressure plate’s heat capacity and the diaphragm spring’s contact and release force.

When the clutch is engaged, the diaphragm spring presses the axially movable pressure plate against the clutch disc and flywheel. Its shape, material, and sporty characteristics ensure high transmittable engine Torque.
